Fellows Lake is one of Springfield's main sources of drinking water. Since March 2021, the Watershed Committee has taken over management of the Marina located at Fellows Lake Miller Park. We are seeking 20 volunteers to assist with clean-up efforts in the park and surrounding area. Tasks include collecting litter in the park, maintaining native plant beds, and other landscaping efforts. Please come prepared for work outdoors. Dress comfortably for the weather, and bring a refillable water bottle. All other materials will be provided. This includes snacks, sunscreen, etc.
Volunteers will meet at the Marina. Directions from Springfield, take Highway 65 north 4 miles, then Route AA west 0.50 mile, then Farm Road 197 north.
