Isabel’s House is founded on the belief that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment, no matter what their family is going through. Since opening our doors in 2007, we’ve remained a trusted resource for families in crisis, offering short-term care for children and compassionate support for caregivers.
Our team is made up of dedicated professionals and trained volunteers who provide trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate care. We collaborate closely with community partners to ensure that each family receives the support they need, when they need it most.
At Isabel’s House, we believe in dignity, respect, and the power of prevention. We are a community-driven organization, rooted in love and committed to keeping children safe and families strong.
What We Do
At Isabel’s House, we provide immediate refuge for children, birth through age 12, whose families are facing a crisis. Our mission is to keep kids safe and families together. Whether a caregiver is experiencing medical challenges, domestic violence, homelessness, or overwhelming stress, we offer a safe, loving place for children to stay, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
In addition to trauma-informed care for children, we walk alongside families, connecting them with essential resources and wraparound support. Our goal is to prevent child abuse and neglect by strengthening families before problems escalate.
At Isabel’s House, every child is safe, and every family has hope.
