Eden Animal Haven

Founded as a nonprofit in 2013, we now take in more than 400 cats each year and adopt out about 375. We are a no-kill, cage-free rescue with space for about 90 cats in our shelter and our fosters care for about an additional 40-50 during kitten season. Our shelter features a room dedicated to senior cats and one for cats testing positive for Feline Leukemia--we are the only rescue in the area that accepts FeLV+ kitties!

Eden Animal Haven is the first and only cage-free, no-kill shelter just for cats in Southwest Missouri. Our shelter houses up to about 90 cats in community cat rooms, most of which have access to the outdoors in attached "catios". Another 50 or so kittens and their mamas stay with fosters until old enough to come to the shelter.
